THE PROCESS
Visual experiments are achieved through a combination of multiple noise nodes used to displace subdivided planes and objects. All materials used are procedural and node based. The pre-render image is a result of careful value manipulation until a complex visual outcome is achieved. Images are rendered above 4K resolution to enable post-render manipulation. A variety of blending modes is used to combine multiple images into a layered composition. Noise is added to break up the clean visual patterns produced by the Cycles render engine. The final image is exported as lossless and converted to compressed WebP format.
